Singing Your Heart Out

Most of the time you can see me with my earphones on. I love music and I always play my favorites everywhere I go. When my music's on, my world's off. Yeah, that's true. I don't care anymore as to what's happening to the world when I'm listening to my playlist. 

Music keeps me alive all the time. I have this light feeling whenever I listen to my favorite songs. I guess, that's what music is made for. It keeps us feeling lighter and better when we play them. Whenever I am feeling sad, happy or whatever mood I'm at the moment, music is my confidante. That is why I make sure that my iPod is always with me. I feel incomplete when I'm not bringing it.

I don't have any specific music genre that I really love. As long as I like the rhythm or the lyrics of the song, I can instantly love it. I can actually repeat one song over and over again until I get tired of hearing it. But I think I won't get tired, because once I loved a song, it will be forever. (Haha! This is true!) 

Though I am not really good at singing, I still love music. I don't have the best voice in the whole world, but I love to sing my heart out. You can say that I'm out of tune most of the time, but heck I don't care! I will sing whenever and wherever I want to. No one can stop me from doing this, because singing is one of the things I love doing the most. People closest to me know how much I love music and singing. And they can attest to that. So, if you are a frustrated singer like me, then go for it! Even if you are out of tune or your voice is not that good to hear, keep it going. I urge you to follow your heart and sing all you can.

An Early Valentine Greeting

Valentine's Day is coming! Are you guys, excited for it? Well, for those who are in a relationship, I bet you are! And for those who are single... I bet they, too, are excited! Not because you're single, you can't be happy on Valentine's Day. This day is meant for everyone, whether you're single or not. So, don't be sad or bitter when Valentine's Day comes.

Each year, I celebrate Valentine's Day. There were years I celebrated it with a special someone, then with family or friends. Hey, this day is not just for couples! You can actually celebrate it with your family and friends. It's not about the bouquets or the chocolates that you will receive on this day. What's important is that we celebrate the feast of Saint Valentine. 

I know that there are a lot of people who get so excited whenever this day comes. On the contrary, there are people who just don't care about it. It's just a normal day for them, just like any other days. Well, it's really up to you how you deal with this day. As long as it makes you happy, then go for it. 

As for me, I will celebrate it with a special someone (awww!). It's been like this for the past 3 years now and I am looking forward to another memorable day with the love of my life. Cheesy, huh? Okay, let's end it here. Haha!

I just wish everyone an early greeting of Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you all have a blast and remember that this day isn't just for the lovers, it's for everyone. So, get up and don't just stay at home or inside your room. There are a lot of ways to celebrate this special day. Trust me, you will have fun too. Just enjoy the day and let love keep flowing.

What Are You Passionate About?

There are a lot of things that we want for ourselves. They may be material or non-material things. But whatever it is, we have to work hard for it. It won't just come in front of us without putting an effort to achieve it. 

If you are following my blog, you would know what I am passionate about. Yes, I am passionate about writing. As I've mentioned in my previous posts, I have a deep passion in writing. It is something which I am willing to do for the rest of my life. I don't know why. All I know is that writing keeps me company whenever I'm happy or sad. I can express all my thoughts through it and I am very lucky and blessed to acquire this skill. 

If you are passionate about something, then you have to act upon it. You need to make a move in order to achieve and make it happen. You won't be waking up one day accomplishing everything without doing anything. That is why you have to be patient and determined to achieve what you want in your life. It may not be easy at first, but you still need to conquer it. There has to be faith and hope along the way. Nothing is impossible in this life, so you better go for your passion and goals.

Right now, I am doing whatever I could in order to reach my passion. I've said before that I want to become a writer someday and I stand firm on that one up to this moment. I will become a writer someday for I believe in it and that's what I want for my life.

New Year, New Me

It's been awhile since I posted a blog here. So, here is another one.

A new year has come again and I am very grateful and blessed for it. 2013 has been a tough year for me. I had countless ups and downs, but I managed to survive all of them. There are really a lot of challenges for the past year and I thought of giving up already. Some days seemed like my life has no direction anymore, but God always reminded me that there is more to life than these problems I have. That is why I am really thankful to God for he never left my side. I've been thinking of surrendering already, but He constantly reminds me not to.

All of us experience low points in our lives. For me, 2013 has been my lowest point to date. Problems here and there are always present. I just can't contain them anymore. Well, I am just glad that my family, friends and most especially, God were all with me all throughout. I know I won't be able to survive these obstacles without them. 

Now that 2014 has come, I am looking forward to a brighter and lighter year. Every one of us has their wishes this new year, but for me it will all just be for a better me. Since I have gone through a lot of things last year, I hope that I can still have the strength and courage to face them. I know that I won't get rid of the trials in life, that is why I am wishing that God will still be beside me, guiding and protecting me. I lift it all up to Him this 2014. And I hope that you will, too.

May this year be great and awesome for all of us. Let us throw all the bad and negative things that happened to us last year and start anew and good life. Cheers!
